Initially, I thought that the food at FUZE was way out of my budget. I liked that the clams were fresh and a little sweet. Sitting in the hideous, but delicious, mess was sautéed garlic and red chillies, so you can expect the pasta to be rather garlicky, and armed with a pinch of heat. There were other choices for the base (tomato, aglio olio, alfredo or squid ink) and pasta (penne, linguine or spaghetti), so there is something for everyone. The Squid Ink Seafood Linguine ($19) came with adequate seafood (prawn, squid, clams and mussels) and was filling. This slab of glorious meat was splendidly marinated and roasted!

I slid my fork against the crackling golden skin, just to hear the crisp, and I was delighted by what I heard. The feta cheese (a pickled curd cheese) lent a saltiness to the tangy tomato base.
